Messaging buyers and sellers

Before buying: tap Message next to the seller's name on the item page.
After buying or selling: tap Message on the order page.

Ask questions and arrange collections.

Use messages to ask a seller a question before you buy, or to arrange a collection after you've paid.

Starting a chat

You'll find all your chats under Messages at the top of the page. A number shows how many have unread messages.

We'll email you when someone messages you. If they send a few in a row, you'll get one email, not one per message.

When an item is paid for or posted, we add a short note to the chat so you both know where things are.

Keep conversations on Sharewear. There's no need to share phone numbers or email addresses.

If someone's rude, suspicious or asks you to pay another way, tap the menu (⋮) in the chat and choose Report.
