Taking good photos
Simple tips that help items sell faster.
Good photos sell items faster. You can add up to 8 photos (JPG, PNG or WebP, up to 10MB each).
Tips
- Use daylight. Near a window works well. Avoid flash.
- Use a plain background. Lay items flat on a bed or hang them on a door.
- Show the whole item first, then close-ups of the logo, the label with the size, and any marks.
- Be honest about wear. Photograph bobbles, stains or repairs, so buyers know what to expect and there are no surprises.
- Keep it tidy. A quick iron or fold makes a big difference.
Please don't
- Show children in photos. Don't photograph items being worn by children, or include children's faces or names anywhere. Listings that do will be removed.
- Use photos copied from shops or other websites.
